She worked with attorneys, judges, and legal staff on using trusted content, improving research efficiency, and applying technology effectively in a variety of professional settings. She also speaks about ethical AI use in legal work and has presented to hundreds of attorneys.
Ms. Hornbeck began her career in law with Ober Kaler in Baltimore. Her practice focused on commercial real estate matters including drafting loan documentation, title review, closings, contracts, and occasionally research for lender-focused transactions in Maryland.
She attended Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland and then earned her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Her professional background combines legal practice, client education, trusted content, and practical technology guidance. Outside of work, she enjoys boating on Chesapeake Bay with her family, visiting Maine, and spending time with her West Highland Terrier.
